We will exploring the area around and in the n a t i o n a l p a r k g e s ä u s e by foot to take home with us pictures of how rock and water in unison have formed this unique landscape. Steep ascends to mountain cottages will go hand in hand with comfortable walks along creeks and rivers. Our view will be that of majestic peaks, green meadows and „Almen“ as well as peaceful green forrests.
Generally these hikes are offered in form of multiple day hikes of the type M1 (starting points Nationalpark Gesäuse and surroundings). The length and type of hike depends on the abilities and wishes of the participants, the weather and the season.The range of walking time and degree of difficulty for offered hikes is shown below. Detailed information about planned hikes will be given upon sign up and can be requested via email or on the phone.

- Degree of difficulty: medium to difficult – walking time between 4 and 7 hours, ascent between 530m (medium) and 1500m (difficult) plus descent between 530m (medium) and 1500m (difficult) (ask for details)
